The Maryland-based defense manufacturer claims that the new combat aircraft it is providing to India will have impressive standoff capabilities, greater staying power with lower fuel consumption and state-of-the-art network data-linking capabilities across all platforms.

New Delhi (Sputnik): US defense manufacturer Lockheed Martin has said the F-21 multi-role combat aircraft it is producing indigenously for India will address the immediate requirements of the country’s air force, besides giving it a “significant edge.”

The F-21 warplanes will strengthen the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) integration into the worldwide network of advanced fighter aircraft technology, a report in the Economic Times quoted the Maryland-based company as saying.

Tensions skyrocket between the two nuclear countries.

The F-21 jet for India was unveiled by Lockheed Martin at the Aero India show in the southern Indian city of Bengaluru in February this year. Lockheed Martin and Tata Advanced Systems will produce the aircraft in India.

“While it is inappropriate for us to compare specific capabilities, the F-21 will give India a significant edge with greater standoff capability, greater staying power with less fuel burn, and network data linking capabilities across all platforms. The F-21 will meet all of India’s performance, capability and advanced technology requirements — the same requirements all other 4th generation competitors are offering. As we pursue cutting-edge technologies for the F-21, some capabilities may be evaluated as discrete, integrated functions,” Vivek Lall, vice president of Strategy and Business Development at Lockheed, told the Economic Times.

The aircraft will feature Advanced APG-83 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars, which has detection ranges nearly double that of previous mechanically scanned array radars and the ability to track and attack more targets with higher precision.

In addition to this, its Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) System, developed uniquely for India, will enhance survivability against ground and air threats. The Long-Range Infrared Search and Track tech will enable pilots to detect threats more accurately, while the Triple Missile Launcher Adapters (TMLAs) will allow the F-21 to carry 40 percent more air-to-air weapons, Lall specified.

India started the process of purchasing 114 fighter jets under a strategic partnership program in 2018. Six foreign firms responded to the request for information. Renowned arms manufacturers Boeing and Lockheed Martin of the United States, Dassault Aviation of France, European consortium Eurofighter, Saab of Sweden and United Aircraft Corporation of Russia submitted their responses in July 2018, while Mikoyan later joined the race with its MiG-35.

India’s purchase of Russian S-400 air defense systems, via a deal signed last year and worth $5.43 billion, has unnerved Pakistan, with Foreign minister Shah Mohammed Qureshi describing the S-400s as destabilizing weapon systems which could affect the region’s strategic stability. Delivery of the first S-400 system is likely to take place in 2020.

New Delhi (Sputnik): Expressing his apprehension about the arms purchase by India, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mohammed Qureshi has called on global powers to be “mindful” of their responsibility in terms of arms supplies to the region.

“The introduction of new destabilizing weapon systems, such as the S-400 anti-ballistic missile system, could further accentuate challenges to strategic stability. They can encourage a misadventure by an adversary, under a false sense of security,” FM Shah Mohammed Qureshi said on Wednesday in Islamabad.

Last October, India inked a $5.43 billion defense contract with Russia to purchase of five S-400 air defense systems despite the threat of US sanctions. Pakistan has immediately reacted by claiming that the purchase “is a part of their efforts to acquire a Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) System through multiple sources,” adding that the move could destabilize strategic stability in South Asia.
India has denied the accusations, deeming the purchase as necessary for national security.

Alex Jones breaks down how the crisis in Venezuela could trigger a world war.

India’s massive acquisition of conventional arms coupled with offensive doctrines, such as Cold Start, and its expansion of strategic assets, including nuclear submarines, are developments with serious security implications for Pakistan and the region, Qureshi opined.

He also mentioned that the recent ASAT test conducted by India on 27 March raised concerns in Islamabad. Qureshi warned the international community against providing concessions and sharing high-end technology with India.

“The country-specific exemption by the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), has had negative implications for strategic stability in our region,” Qureshi stated.

Qureshi urged global powers to remain mindful while dealing with countries in the region as the strategic stability of South Asia is impacted not only by regional developments but also by the approach of the international community.

As per the foreign minister, Pakistan had demonstrated its commitment to peace and stability by putting forward a proposal for a Strategic Restraint Regime (SRR) — based on three interlocking elements of conflict resolution: nuclear restraint, missile restraint and conventional balance. He said the proposal remains on the table and if pursued could lay the foundation for lasting peace and stability in the region.

The crisis between the two nuclear-armed nations escalated after the Pulwama terrorist attack in which 40 Indian soldiers were killed. Tensions were further heightened on 27 February when the two air forces got embroiled in a dogfight — their first ever in the last five decades — in retaliation to a “non-military pre-emptive” air strike conducted by the Indian Air Force against apparent terror infrastructure in Pakistan’s Balakot on 26 February.

Pakistan claimed that it shot down two Indian fighter jets in the dogfight, while India refuted the claim and said that the second downed fighter jet was a F-16 of the Pakistan Air Force which was shot down by an IAF MiG-21 Bison.

The report comes as heavy cross-border firing and shelling continues between India and Pakistan, which have seen another wave of escalation in the seven decades-long conflict since mid-February.

During a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security on Tuesday, Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval told Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the three branches of the country’s defense forces — Army, Air Force, and Navy — were ready for another action against Pakistan, India TV News reported.

Modi reportedly asked the military to make sure that no civilians died the neighboring country and that the targets be military-related.
Neither India’s Defence Ministry, nor the Modi government has confirmed the reports yet.

The development comes just a day after local media cited the Director-General of Pakistan’s Inter-Service Public Relations as saying that Islamabad was entitled to use any means of self-defence — a claim which followed weeks of denial that Pakistan had used a US-built F-16 in a 27 February dogfight with India:

“Whether it was F16 or JF17 which shot down 2 Indian aircraft is immaterial. Even if F-16s have been used as at that point in time complete PAF was airborne including F16s, the fact remains that Pakistan Air Force shot down two Indian jets in self-defense. India can assume any type [of plane] of their choice even F-16. Pakistan retains the right to use anything and everything in its legitimate self-defense”, the official reportedly said.

Alex Jones breaks down how the crisis in Venezuela could trigger a world war.

The militaries of the nuclear arms-wielding nations have come up with competing claims regarding the aerial combat on 27 February over the Line of Control in the disputed area of Kashmir: while Islamabad alleged it had brought down two Indian planes, New Delhi admitted to the loss of only one of its aircraft and made a counter-claim, saying it had destroyed a Pakistani F-16.

Pakistan has flatly denied that US-made F-16s were either deployed or lost, while India claimed that Islamabad could have violated the fighter jet’s sale deal with the United States.

The tensions between the two neighbors, who have been embroiled in a conflict since 1947, were exacerbated by a deadly suicide bomb attack allegedly claimed by Pakistan-based Jaish-e Mohammad on a convoy of Indian military personnel in Pulwama on 14 February. In response to the attack, the Indian Air Force conducted an air raid on a suspected terror camp in Balakot, Pakistan on 26 February, later claiming it had killed 300 terrorists.

Pakistan has denied the existence of any such camps in the area, with local media citing locals as saying that besides hitting some 15 pine trees, only one elderly villager was hurt in the air raid. The following day, the two countries’ aircraft engaged in a fierce dogfight over Kashmir; since then both sides have been involved in sporadic fighting over the de facto border.

Alex Jones issues an emergency to President Trump, suggesting that he must close the America’s southern border, finish building the wall, and stop the flow of illegal immigration to stop America’s collapse.

Tensions between the traditional rivals escalated in mid-February after over 40 Indian soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack in Pulwama in Kashmir, India. While Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility for the attack, the Indian government blamed the Pakistani government for sponsoring terror activities in India.

New Delhi (Sputnik): Pakistan has reiterated that the situation at the border with India remains on high alert and that its forces will remain on alert, as directed by Prime Minister Imran Khan last week.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesman Dr. Muhammad Faisal said on Wednesday that the Pakistanis wished for de-escalation of border tensions vis-a-vis India.

“There is a difficult situation with India. We wish for de-escalation and are taking steps for this. The situation like the prime minister said remains on alert”, Dr. Faisal said in a video at Geo News.

Tensions high between two nuclear countries.

Meanwhile, cross-LoC (Line of Control) trade on the Poonch-Rawalakot route was suspended following the deterioration of the situation on Tuesday, when four army men, three Pakistani and one Indian, were killed in different incidents of cross-border firings while over a dozen civilians were injured.

In the post-Pulwama border attack escalation, the Indian Air Force (IAF) had conducted an aerial strike in Balakot inside Pakistan and claimed to have destroyed terror infrastructure operated by Jaish-e-Mohammed. A day later, Pakistan claimed shooting down two Indian aircraft, while the Indian side stated that its MiG-21 Bison had shoot down an F-16 jet of Pakistan before it crashed inside Pakistan territory.

In his turn, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has voiced his belief that the possibility of an armed conflict with India is not yet over.

Alex Jones gives his personal view on how the United States should intervene in South America with the collapsing socialist utopia known as Venezuela, and he urges President Trump to pay attention to the Chinese troops being deployed to help maintain Nicolás Maduro’s wrongful rule over his own people.

The move was reportedly prompted by the perceived threats to coal mine projects in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor which have been facing stiff resistance from locals in Pakistan.

China is reportedly unhappy over the Pakistani Army’s alleged inability to ensure the safety of the project despite repeated assurances.

New Delhi (Sputnik): China has deployed a contingent of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to the Thar region of Sindh province in Pakistan which is about 90 kilometers away from Pakistan’s international border with India. Indian television channel Zee News quoted a senior intelligence officer saying that Indian forces had noticed the movement of Chinese troops close to the border.

“The Border Security Force (of India) deployed at the India-Pakistan border has also noticed the movement of Chinese troops close to the border. It seems that due to the opposition of Chinese projects by locals in Sindh and Balochistan provinces, China has deployed its PLA,” the intelligence officer told Zee News.

Google has been exposed for assisting the Chinese government with their efforts to censor information on the internet. Alex breaks down how this has been on the globalists’ agenda for decades.

The multi-billion dollar CPEC is a collection of infrastructure projects that are currently under construction throughout Pakistan. Originally valued at 46 billion dollars, the actual cost of the projects has now crossed 62 billion dollars.

Pakistan has deployed around 17,000 soldiers to protect the 3000-kilometer-long corridor. Moreover, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa during a visit to China last year had sought to assure Beijing that optimum security would be provided to the project. However, dissatisfied over Pakistan’s inability to deal with protests by locals, China decided to take the matter on its own hands.

(Photo by Emaad Paracha / Wikimedia Commons)

A former Indian Army official is of the view that the development is, however, a matter of concern to India.

“Officially, the deployment of troops by China is to protect their own citizens working in Pakistan in various projects and also to secure the safety of the CPEC from local people. But unofficially, it is the commencement of a military base in the interiors of the country (Pakistan). It could also be perceived to be a sort of restriction on India in case it attempts a military option against Pakistan. Although India would never go this deep inside Pakistan, but in the long run, the Chinese PLA could also be deployed much closer to our border. Finally, it signals the growing proximity between China and Pakistan and interdependence. No nation in its right senses would permit such a deployment,” Major General (Retired) Harsha Kakar told Sputnik.

“In fact, China is eyeing a military base in Pakistan in the long run. China has not invested for the betterment of Pakistan but for its own national interest. But the army and air force bases are major security concerns for India,” Major General Kakar added.

The JF-17 Thunder, jointly developed by Pakistan and China, is getting some new upgrades that will make the tactical aircraft all the deadlier.

The news comes amid claims by Islamabad that it was a JF-17 that India shot down last month, not a US-made F-16, as well as a successful smart missile test by the Pakistan Air Force using the jet.

“All related work is being carried out,” on the JF-17 Block 3 upgrades, Yang Wei, a Chinese legislator who is also the jet’s chief designer, said at a press conference last Friday. The upgrades will includes an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar as well as a new helmet-mounted display and sight system for the pilot, enabling them to aim by looking around, Beijing-base military analyst Wei Dongxu told the Global Times on Monday.

The addition of AESA gives Pakistan the ability to compete with India’s new domestically produced Tejas MK-1, which also sports the advanced radar, Sputnik reported. With AESA, the JF-17 can scan the skies as well as the ground for many targets at once and at many frequencies, whereas more traditional pulse-doppler radars have to be pointed and can only scan at a single frequency, making them much easier to jam.

Huawei is being used by China to spy on America even prompting the Pentagon to remove all products that the military may be using.

The plane will also get computer and communications upgrades that will enable pilots share information quickly — what Wei called “informatized warfare.”

Wei told the Global Times the radar addition makes the plane more than a match for the F-16, which Pakistan also uses. The newest F-16 variant, the F-16V “Viper,” also sports AESA radar, Sputnik reported.

Since the new Thunders use basically the same airframe as the previous model, Wei said there won’t be any delays in manufacturing, and the additions can be fitted quickly to the new jets.

First introduced in 2007, the JF-17 Thunder is also called the CAC FC-1 Xiaolong, or “Fierce Dragon,” as it was jointly produced by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) of China.

The fifth-generation multi-role attack jet has been floated as a competitor to others such as India’s Tejas F-1, South Korea’s FA-50 and the United States’ F-16; the Global Times noted the Malaysian Royal Air Force is presently weighing precisely those options. The blog The Aviationist noted that at between $25 and $32 million each, the advanced JF-17 can compete with the F-35 as an export model, too, and being produced in far greater numbers makes it all the deadlier.

Also on Wednesday, the Pakistan Air Force announced that a JF-17 had successfully test-fired an indigenously developed smart missile, Sputnik reported, saying a “successful trial has provided JF-17 Thunder a very potent and assured day and night capability to engage a variety of targets with pinpoint accuracy.”

Asif Durrani, Pakistan’s former ambassador to Iran and the United Arab Emirates, told Sputnik for a Wednesday article that it had been a JF-17, and not a US-made F-16, that the Indian Air Force shot down late last month near the Line of Control that separates the Indian-controlled and Pakistani-controlled parts of the contested Jammu and Kashmir province. Under the terms of its agreement with Washington, Pakistan can only use the F-16s it purchased for strikes against terrorist forces and not in engagements with India’s military.

Pakistan has been accused of having “plenty to hide” by India, after Reuters journalists were repeatedly denied access to investigate a school near the site of an Indian airstrike inside Pakistan’s territory on February 26.

The claim was made by Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Raveesh Kumar on Saturday. It follows a third attempt in nine days by the Reuters team to climb a hill at the site leading to a madrasa, or religious school, believed to have been run at one point by the Pakistani-based jihadist group Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM). However, each attempt to access the area around the school was blocked by Pakistani guards citing “security concerns.”

“The fact that Pakistan has now refused access to journalists from visiting the site means that they have plenty to hide,” Kumar told reporters. He added that the “successful” strike had “achieved the desired objectives.”

Tensions between the two nuclear powers have been high since Indian warplanes conducted the cross-border raid on February 26, to destroy what New Delhi described as “terrorist camps” run by JeM. The group is behind the mid-February suicide bombing that ripped through a convoy carrying paramilitary policemen in Indian-controlled Kashmir, killing at least 42 officers.

The retaliatory strikes were hailed as a success by India, with the foreign minister triumphantly claiming “a very large number” of JeM fighters had been killed. However, Pakistan downplayed the raid and the number of casualties. Instead, it accused India of conducting an act of “environmental terrorism” by destroying a pine forest rather than a jihadist training camp.

Tensions peaked after an air encounter between both sides, with India saying it had shot down a Pakistani jet, while admitting to having lost one. Islamabad denied the information about the downing of its fighter.

At least nine Indian troops and Kashmir militants died during a shootout on Monday, as tensions escalated following a suicide bombing attack that killed more than 40 Indian paramilitaries last week.

The fighting went on for several hours in the Pulwama district, south of India-administered Kashmir’s main city of Srinaga, where Indian soldiers were searching for militants tied to the Pakistan-based Islamist group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), which claimed last week’s attack.

Four soldiers, a policeman, three militants and a civilian were killed in the latest clash, officials said. An army major was among the dead, along with three militants from the JeM group.

Security force sources told Reuters news agency that the suspected organizer of the suicide bombing in the disputed region of Kashmir was also killed, echoing reports from local broadcaster NDTV.

Dan Lyman joins Alex Jones to give a small taste of the massive, Islamic invasion happening across Europe.

‘The Time for Talks is Over’

India has blamed the suicide attack on Pakistan, which it says harbors the JeM group, and threatened a “jaw-breaking response.”

Pakistan has warned India against linking it to the attack without an investigation, saying that it was part of New Delhi’s “known rhetoric and tactics” to divert global attention from human rights violations in Kashmir.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday rejected the possibility of talks with Pakistan following the deadly bombing.

“The Pulwama terror attack shows that the time for talks is over,” Modi said in a reference to a possible dialogue with Islamabad to ease tensions. “Now the entire world needs to unite to take concrete steps to deal with terrorism and supporters. Not taking strict measures against terrorism and those against humanity, also encourages terrorism.”

Saudi Arabia Aims to ‘De-Escalate’ Tensions

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia said it would try to “de-escalate” rising tensions between Pakistan and India during a high-profile summit in Islamabad.

The kingdom’s foreign minister spoke at a press conference in Islamabad as Pakistan recalled its envoy from Delhi for “consultations.”

“Our objective is to try to de-escalate tensions between the two countries, neighboring countries, and to see if there is a path forward to resolving those differences peacefully,” said Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir.

India and Pakistan both administer parts of the border region of Kashmir, with both laying claim to more of the disputed territory. It’s one of the main disputes between the uneasy nuclear neighbors.
