The Oakland Raiders have signed quarterback Mike Glennon.

The news kind of flew under the radar when he inked a deal with the franchise a couple days ago, and it’s a shade mind-boggling as to why the Raiders pulled the trigger on Glennon.

Oakland and Gruden have reportedly been eyeing a quarterback, and the legendary football coach seems super impressed with Kyler Murray.

Do you know how much Glennon and Murray have in common? Absolutely nothing other than they both can throw a football. (RELATED: Kyler Murray Measures In At Over 5’10” At The Combine)

The former North Carolina State star isn’t going to start for the Raiders, which means they have him locked in as a backup behind Derek Carr. (RELATED: Oakland Raiders Cut Jordy Nelson After Paying Him $3 Million)

Why in the hell would you sign Mike Glennon as a backup if you’re gunning for a QB in the draft, especially one with the traits of Kyler Murray?

That makes next to no sense. The Oklahoma Heisman winner is a dual-threat and lightning fast. He couldn’t be more different from Glennon. The fact the Raiders made this move makes me think they know they have no shot at drafting Murray and are just in a holding pattern.

What a bizarre decision on all fronts.

Camille Kostek was nothing but supportive of Rob Gronkowski’s decision to retire from the NFL.

The former New England Patriots star announced Sunday that he was done with the sport, and his superstar model girlfriend had an emotional message for him. (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)

She posted a photo of the two of them kissing after winning the Super Bowl and captioned the post in part:

There is nothing like the thrill of watching you play. I love you with all my heart, you allow me to take the term “proud girlfriend” to a new level. For all the people that have come up to us to tell you they are your biggest fan, I quietly smile because I know I’m yours and I will continue to root you on in all that you do

Something tells me that Gronk won’t be too sad in retirement with a woman like Kostek by his side. The two of them are one of the biggest power couples in all of sports and entertainment. (SLIDESHOW: 142 Times Josephine Skriver Barely Wore Anything)

She’s a modeling sensation, and he’s got three Super Bowl rings. If that’s not a power duo, then I don’t know what would be. (SLIDESHOW: 71 Times Samantha Hoopes Stripped Down)

Honestly, I’m not sure how eager I’d be to keep playing football either if I was already rich and knew that I could go home to a woman like Kostek.

I probably would have hung it up a hell of a lot sooner than Gronk did.

It should be fun to see what this powerhouse duo does next. I’m sure that it won’t disappoint.

The Charlotte Hornets beat the Toronto Raptors on a wild half-court heave Sunday night.

Trailing 112-114 with only seconds remaining, Jeremy Lamb lost control of the ball on the inbounds, regained control and fired it from behind half court.

Not only did he make the shot, but he banked it in to secure a 115-114 win for the Hornets. The video is downright absurd. (RELATED: Jimmer Fredette Signs With The Phoenix Suns On Two-Year Deal)

How? How was that possible? He shouldn’t even have been able to get the shot off. There shouldn’t have been any chance at all for that work.

Yet he smoked that sucker from about 50 feet away. Not only did he make it, but Lamb was shockingly calm afterward. (RELATED: NBA Star Wears Horrendous Disguise To Music Festival. What Do You Think?)

That’s the spirit of a winner. You don’t celebrate things you’re expected to do.

That’s without a doubt one of the wildest endings that I’ve seen in the NBA in a very long time. I’m not sure how much crazier it could get.

That was the definition of a desperation heave, and it banked in. Welcome to the wild world of pro sports.

Sports Illustrated shared an incredible swimsuit video of rookie Olivia Brower late Sunday night.

Brower rocked an awesome one-piece suit in the post on Instagram, and this one is pretty impressive. (SLIDESHOW: These Women On Instagram Hate Wearing Clothes)

Generally speaking, we’re not huge on one-pieces here, but we might be willing to make an exception for this one. (SLIDESHOW: 142 Times Josephine Skriver Barely Wore Anything)

Mike Krzyzewski took a moment to comfort several UCF players after they failed to beat Duke Sunday night.

UCF nearly upset the Blue Devils but failed to score on two different chances in the closing seconds. They were literally inches away from pulling off one of the biggest upsets in recent NCAA tournament memory. (RELATED: Duke Survives Massive Scare From UCF In The Second Round Of The NCAA Tournament)

The legendary basketball coach went to multiple players on the Knights and tried his best to cheer them up.

Watch the video of his small act of kindness below:

The scene in the UCF locker room was much worse than it was on the court. Emotions were flowing as the players tried to stomach the wild ending that knocked them out of the tournament. (RELATED: The March Madness Bracket Has Been Released)

It was an incredibly jarring scene.

You can hate Duke all you want, but there’s no doubt it’s a class-act program. Coach K didn’t have to comfort the players he just beat, and most coaches wouldn’t even consider such a thing.

Yet, the five-time national champion took a small amount of time to let them know it’d be okay. If that’s not classy, then I haven no idea what is.

Johnny Manziel made his return to pro football Sunday night, and it didn’t disappoint.

The Memphis Express quarterback didn’t take a ton of snaps in his first game in the AAF against the Birmingham Iron, but he looked damn good when he was on the field. (RELATED: Johnny Manziel Talks Journey To The Alliance Of American Football Ahead Of Debut)

He completed three of five passes for 48 yards, rushed for 20 on two carries and had a nice deep ball dropped by a receiver. The Express won the game 31-25.

It was known ahead of time that Johnny Football wouldn’t get the start but would likely get a couple snaps. I was more impressed by what we saw in his limited action. Watch his highlights below. (RELATED: Johnny Manziel Signs With The Memphis Express In The AAF)

Given that he was only taking limited reps last night, I’m surprised by how comfortable and loose he seemed.

It was just like watching Johnny Football circa 2012 at Texas A&M. He was just out there playing, slinging and even got into some moments of trash talking.

Given what we saw last night, you can expect Manziel to get worked into the rotation more and more. Obviously, they weren’t going to throw him to the wolves after a week of practice.

I still think it’s fair to say that he’s ready to go, and that’s a good sign for fans. The AAF made a brilliant decision by bringing him in.

You can watch his next game Saturday against the Orlando Apollos on Bleacher Reporter Live.

Duke got the scare of a lifetime Sunday against UCF.

The Blue Devils won 77-76, but the dramatics were high. Coach K’s guys took a lead with seconds remaining, and then nearly blew it on two missed shots from the Knights. (RELATED: The March Madness Bracket Has Been Released)

If you have a heart condition or a weak stomach, I wouldn’t recommend watching the ending sequence below.

Simply an unreal finish. UCF had two chances to win after Tacko Fall fouled out. Two of them in the closing seconds!

This game was everything I hoped for and much more. Fall was incredibly entertaining to watch, Zion Williamson was incredible down the stretch and Duke survived to fight another day.

That’s what March Madness is all about. You fight to earn the right to play 40 more minutes. It doesn’t get much more American than that.

There was no reason for Duke to win that game. Absolutely none at all, but they did. That ending was literally the type of situation you can’t script.

Welcome to March, gentlemen. It’s always one hell of a fun ride.
